Basingstoke Bison Players Swap Sticks for Service Trays in Charity Fundraiser.
The Basingstoke Bison are stepping off the ice and into the restaurant for a special evening in support of a vital local cause. On Wednesday 11th March, the team will be taking over the Spruce Goose for a unique charity event where players will trade their hockey gear for aprons, serving guests as waiters for the night. The evening will feature a raffle with all proceeds going to Ark Cancer Charity.
Ark Cancer Charity is a local organisation dedicated to enhancing the experience of cancer patients receiving treatment at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust. The charity funds wellbeing services that fall outside what the NHS can currently provide, offering patients crucial physical and emotional support during their treatment journey. Through the Ark Wellbeing Centre, patients can access a range of therapies including reflexology, and counselling following referral from their clinical team.
If you are looking for a great evening out for a good cause, this promises to be a memorable night with plenty of laughs as the players navigate life on the other side of the service counter.
How to book: Call the Spruce Goose directly to reserve your table for 6:30p on Wednesday 11th March. Be sure to mention you're attending the Basingstoke Bison charity event when booking.
Come along, enjoy the evening, and help support a fantastic cause.
