The Basingstoke Bison are delighted to announce the signing of forward Adam Rosbottom (#2) ahead of the new season.


Rosbottom arrives as a hard-working, dependable British forward who brings depth and a strong team-first mentality to the Bison roster. A player who consistently puts in 100% and plays hard for his teammates.


Adam is no stranger to a number of the current Bison squad, having lined up alongside several of them in previous seasons, and that familiarity should help him settle in quickly as he puts on a Bison Jersey.


His journey through British hockey began in the junior ranks with the Nottingham Cougars at U16 level, before he went on to establish himself in senior hockey. Adam enjoyed productive spells with the Slough Jets across NIHL 2 and NIHL 1, before continuing to contribute at PINIHL level with the Berkshire Bees. Most recently, he suited up for the Milton Keynes Lightning, adding further experience to a well-rounded career.


On putting pen to paper, Adam said "I'm excited to be joining the Basingstoke Bison organisation and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to compete alongside a great group of people and help contribute towards success for the club and the brilliant supporters! See you on the ice soon!"


Head Coach Tony Redmond added: "Adam is a welcome addition and adds depth to our squad. I'm looking forward to working with him in the coming season."
