OLIVER HEMMINGS-MAHER RETURNS TO BASINGSTOKE BISON FOR 2025/26 SEASON ON TWO-WAY DEAL
The Basingstoke Bison are delighted to announce that forward Oliver Hemmings-Maher will be returning to the Herd for the 2025/26 season on a two-way deal with the Slough Jets.
Oliver is no stranger to Basingstoke fans, having come through the club’s junior system and making his senior debut with the Bison during the 2022/23 season. Since then, he has continued to develop his game with the Slough Jets and now returns to the Bison with valuable experience and a hunger to make an impact at the National level.
Bison Head Coach Jeff Flanagan expressed his excitement at bringing Oliver back into the fold: “Ollie’s development over the past couple of seasons has allowed him to compete at the NIHL level. He’s a Basingstoke lad and bringing him back into the Bison fold on a two-way is a great step for his growth. He brings a high work ethic and good game sense, and we’re excited to see what he can bring in a Bison jersey this season.”
Speaking on his return to the Herd, Oliver Hemmings-Maher said:
“Hi Bison Fans! It’s been a long wait! I’m so excited to be getting back on the ice with the Bison, and I’m looking forward to the new season and what it will bring.”
Oliver’s signing adds further depth and local talent to the Bison roster as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign.
Welcome back, Oliver!
