Access Card Scheme

Introducing the Access Card Scheme
We are pleased to be working with Nimbus Disability, utilising their Access Card Scheme and Digital Access Pass system to provide a simple and consistent way for supporters to demonstrate eligibility for an essential companion (+1) ticket.

By partnering with Nimbus Disability, a leading authority on accessible ticketing run by and for disabled people, we can ensure that essential companion tickets are allocated fairly, consistently, and securely.

Supporters can apply for a free Digital Access Pass specifically for use with the Basingstoke Bison or choose to apply for a full Access Card if they would like broader recognition.

What Is a FREE Digital Access Pass?
You can submit a free application for a Digital Access Pass via Nimbus.
As part of the application, you will provide evidence and a brief explanation of your access needs. Nimbus will assess this information and, where appropriate, assign the +1 symbol, which indicates eligibility for a carer.

Once approved, your Digital Access Pass is valid for three years and includes a digital ID number.

You can use your Digital Access Pass ID Number to book essential companion tickets with the Basingstoke Bison.

What Is the Access Card?
The Access Card is a universal way of communicating access requirements.

A full Access Card costs £15 for three years. Supporters with a free Digital Access Pass can choose to upgrade if they want wider use at other venues.

How to Apply
To apply for your Basingstoke Bison Digital Access Pass, please click here.

You will be directed to a simple application form where you can upload validating evidence and provide a short description of why you require an essential companion.

Already Have an Access Card or Basingstoke Bison Digital Access Pass?

Validating & Access Requirement
Basingstoke Bison reserves the right to request proof of need before issuing an essential companion ticket.

All applicants, including disabled season ticket holders and those renewing, must provide proof of access requirement:

This evidence is required to receive an essential carer.

In line with our booking terms and conditions, all children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. If you’d like to request a complimentary Essential Companion ticket for a child under 15, please contact our team first at office@basingstokebison.com. You will need to provide a valid Access Card or Digital Access Pass showing the +1 symbol, which confirms that your child requires additional support beyond normal parental responsibility. Once approved, we’ll send you a payment link for the child ticket and one adult ticket at full price. The Essential Companion discount will then be applied to the second adult ticket within your booking. Tickets for the game will be issued once payment has been received. The whole booking including the companion ticket must be booked through ‘office@basingstokebison.com’. Please note the office is open Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm.

Location & Seating Information
Fans requiring a carer will be allocated tickets in an area specified by the club or in the accessible area for wheelchairs.
